Varanasi, one of world's oldest living cities, is rightly called the religious capital of India. Also known as Banaras or Benaras, this holy city is located in the southeastern part of the state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. It rests on the left bank of the holy river Ganga (Ganges), and is one of the seven sacred spots for Hindus.
For every visitor, Varanasi has a different experience to offer. The gentle waters of the Ganges, the boat ride at sunrise, the high banks of the ancient "Ghats", the array of shrines, the meandering narrow serpentine alleys of the city, the myriad temple spires, the palaces at water's edge, the ashrams (hermitages) , the pavilions, the chanting of mantras, the fragrance of incense, the palm and cane parasols, the devotional hymns - all offer a kind of mystifying experience that is unique to the living city of Lord Shiva.
Our hotel is located in a peaceful environment within the heart of the city and hence is in tune with the holy river Ganges. From here you can enjoy the theme of subah-e-banaras along with anicent view of ghats which are on walking distance from the hotel and known as the spirit of varanasi. We offer delicious indian and continental foods as well as homely atmosphere and hospitable environment to our guests.

I Was there for 3 days. It was very comfortable stay. From room you could see the amazing view of holy ganges. It is 2 minutes walk for Assi Ghat. My Special thanx to Madan Mohan Pandey to organise local site seeing & Allahabad trip.
Stay with Hotel Temple on Ganges was the best part of our plan. Situated on the banks of Assi Ghat & facing the holy ganges. The hotel staff is courteous & helpful. The terrace is picturesque & a quiet tea in the morning there was priceless.
Hotel Temple on Ganges is close to Assi Ghat. Right amongst great restraunts and cafes and a few minutes to the morning Aarti (& 5.30) and yoga at 7.00. It is clean and comfortable with super friendly staff and a rooftop restaraunt.
Hotel has fantastic rooms in a very clumsy locality. 'Assi ghat' is very crowded area and hotel has its own private car parking, which is just awesome. We used it as a transit hotel as we did not had much time to travel in the city.
“A truly wonderful location, right on the Ganges” Even though this is not a 'starred' hotel, the location is truly ideal, right on the Ganges and within a short walk to the Ghats. The service is simply outstanding and Rooms were Awesome.
This is a pleasant, functional place to stay, with very helpful managers and staff. The manager at the front desk arranged Ganges boat rides for three of us on short notice and also arranged reliable taxis from the airport.
Hotel is located at the end of the ghats. But conveniently located to a bunch of restaurants and shops. 5 minute walk to the mains ceremonies on the ghats in the morning! Service was very hospitable. Kind and generous!
